Mozilla Firefox

If you want to pin a website shortcut to the taskbar, follow the steps below. It’s not just Firefox, this also applies to Edge and Chrome.

Here’s an important thing to note:

For each browser, you can pin only one shortcut using this method, let us see this by looking at an instance.

You’ve already pinned a shortcut to the taskbar, which opens Google. And now you’ve created a shortcut that opens Facebook. You can’t pin the latter to the taskbar until you unpin the former.

Let us look at the steps.

Create a shortcut for Edge, Chrome, or Firefox on the desktop.

Right-click on the shortcut. Hit “Properties.”

In the “Target” field, go to the end. Hit the “Space bar” key.

Add: -url “https://www.technologyhint.com/”

Replace https://www.technologyhint.com/ with the desired website URL.

Click “OK.”

Now right-click on the shortcut.

Click “Pin to taskbar,” if you want to pin the shortcut to the taskbar.

Note: Remove the shortcut from your desktop if you want.
