How to Disable System Apps on Android

System apps, also known as pre-installed apps, are the apps that come with your Android smartphone.

Remember that unwanted pre-installed apps are referred to as “bloatware.”

You can disable or uninstall system apps.

You can do the former on both rooted and non-rooted devices and the latter only on rooted devices.

If you disable the app, you will not find it in the app drawer. The shortcut of the app will also be removed from the home screen.

Now tap the three vertical dots at the top.

Hit Show system option.

Now you can see the system apps.

Find and tap the one you want to disable.

Hit Disable.

In the pop-up, tap Disable app.

That’s all.
