How to Uninstall an App on Android 10

Method #1

Open Play Store. Tap three vertical lines at the top left > My apps & games.

Navigate to the “Installed” tab. Tap the app you want to uninstall. Tap the “Uninstall” button. Tap “Ok” in the confirmation pop-up.

Notes:

  • In the “Installed” tab, you can see some system apps in your device. It means that those system apps have gotten updates.
  • If you apply the above steps to a system app, all the updates of the app will be removed and not the app itself.
  • If you can’t find the app you want to uninstall in the Google Play Store, then follow the below method.

Method #2

Swipe up from the bottom of the home screen, and you’ll be in the app drawer. Long press the icon of the app you want to uninstall.

Tap the “App info” or its icon, depending on the one you see. Hit “Uninstall.” Tap “Ok” in the confirmation pop-up.

Note: If you see the “Disable,” then it means that the app is a system app.

Method #3

Launch the Files app. Hit “Browse” if you’re not in it. Tap “Apps.” Find the app you like to uninstall and then tap the “Down” arrow beside it.

Hit “Uninstall” option. Tap “Ok” in the pop-up.


How to Uninstall Multiple Apps at Once on Android

Method #1

Note: This method is for both the rooted and non-rooted Android devices.

Launch Play Store. Tap three vertical lines > My apps & games > Installed tab > Storage. Select the apps you prefer to uninstall.

Tap the button at the bottom. Hit the “Free Up X MB” (X is the number of MB that will get freed up) option in the pop-up.

Method #2

Note: This method is for the rooted Android device only.

Install and open the Link2SD app. Provide root access to the app. Tap three vertical dots > Multi-select.

Select the apps you want to uninstall. Hit three vertical dots > Uninstall. Hit the “Ok” button.


How to Uninstall an App on iPhone

Method #1

Long-press the app you want to remove. Hit the “Delete App” option. Tap “Delete” in the confirmation pop-up.

Note: If you can’t see the “Delete App” option, then it means that you can’t delete that app.

Method #2

Open Settings on your iPhone. Hit General > iPhone Storage. Tap the app you want to remove. Hit the “Delete App” option. Tap “Delete App.”

Note: If you can’t see the “Delete App” option, then it means that you can’t delete that app.
