How to Enable Night Mode on Twitter

Twitter has night mode and here's how you can enable it on Twitter web version (PC) and Twitter app (Android):

PC

  • angle-right
    Go to Twitter. Sign in if not already.

    Click on your "Profile Picture" at the top which you can find between "Twitter Search Box" and "Tweet" button.

    Now, click on "Night mode" option.

That's it. You can see that the night mode is enabled for Twitter now.

If you wish to disable night mode, follow the above steps.

Notes:

The night mode is browser specific. It means that you need to enable night mode separately for each of the browsers in your PC.

Also, keep in mind that the night mode will be there until you turn it off. However, in private browsing mode, it will only continue until you close the private window.

Android

    Open Twitter app.
  • angle-double-right
    Hit "Profile Picture" at the top and then hit "half moon" icon at the bottom.

That is all. The night mode should be enabled now.

If you wish to disable night mode, follow the above steps.

Note: If you wish, you can set up "automatic night mode" on the Twitter app and here's how:

Tap "Profile Picture" at the top and then tap "Settings and privacy." Tap Display and sound > Night mode.

Now, you can see three options - Off, On, and Automatic at sunset. Tap "Automatic at sunset" option.

That is all. From now on, the night mode will automatically get activated at sunset and deactivated at sunrise.

If you want to disable automatic night mode, then tap on your "Profile Picture" at the top and then tap "Automatic." Now, tap "Disable," and that is all.
