How to Log Out of Twitter

In this post, you can see the steps to sign out of Twitter. In this case, I’m using Windows 10 PC, Android, and iPhone. Let’s get started.

PC

See how to sign out of Twitter (desktop version):

Sign in to Twitter.

Click your username on the left sidebar.

You will see the “Log out @username” option. Click on it.

In the confirmation pop-up, hit “Log out.”

Android

See how to log out of the Twitter app (Android):

On Twitter for Android, tap the three vertical lines at the top left.

Click on the “Settings and privacy” option.

Tap “Account.”

Scroll down until you see “Log out,” which is between “Apps and sessions” and “Deactivate your account.” Tap on it.

Click “OK” in the confirmation pop-up.

iPhone

Let’s see how to log out of the Twitter app (iPhone):

Launch Twitter for iPhone.

Tap the three vertical lines at the top left > Settings and privacy > Account.

Tap “Log out” at the bottom.

In the confirmation pop-up, tap “Log out.”

How to Log Out of Twitter from All Devices at Once

Remember that the steps below will sign out of Twitter from all devices at once except the current one you are using.

Let’s see the steps to take this task on a Windows 10 computer (here, I use Google Chrome browser), Android, and iOS.

PC

Log in to your Twitter account.

Click “More” in the left sidebar > Settings and privacy > Apps and sessions.

You will see “Log out all other sessions.” Hit it.

In the confirmation pop-up, click on the “Log out” button.

Android Phone or iPhone

Open the Twitter app.

Tap the three vertical lines at the top left.

Click Settings and privacy > Account > Apps and sessions.

Hit “Log out all other sessions.”

In the confirmation pop-up, hit “Log out.”
