You can rename This PC in three unique methods and they are:

Method #1

Open the File Explorer. Right-click on “This PC” in the navigation pane. Click on the “Rename” option in the context menu. Provide the name you want. Click on the “Enter” key.

Method #2

Launch Run Command. In it, type shell:desktop and then press the “Enter” key. Right-click on “This PC” in the “Desktop” folder.

Select the “Rename” option in the context menu. Provide the name as per your wish and then click the “Enter” key.

Method #3

If you’ve already had This PC icon on the desktop, then you can follow the below steps:

Right-click on the “This PC” icon on the desktop. Hit the “Rename” option in the context menu. Provide any name you want and then click the “Enter” key.

Note: Keep in mind that the above methods don’t affect This PC in the “Open File Explorer to” drop-down list and Start menu. To see the shortcut in the Start menu: open Start menu and then expand the “Windows System” folder. But you can see the change in all the other places.
