In this post, we will see different ways to switch tabs in Chrome and Firefox (PC and Android). Let's get started.
Click on the tab you prefer, and you'll get switched to that tab.
Here is an alternate way:
Press Ctrl + Tab (OR Ctrl + Page Down), and you'll be switched to the next tab (the tab that is in the right side of the current tab).
Press Ctrl + Shift + Tab (OR Ctrl + Page Up), and you'll be switched to the previous tab (the tab that is in the left side of the current tab).
Press Ctrl + 1-8, and you'll be switched to the corresponding numbered tab in the browser window. For instance: Press Ctrl + 1, and you'll be switched to the first tab of the browser window.
Press Ctrl + 9, and you'll be taken to the last tab of the browser window.
Hit the "Open tabs" icon (The icon with the number). You can find this icon between "Address Bar" and "Overflow Menu" (three vertical dots).
Now, you can see the list of tabs. Go through it and hit the one you prefer.
Alternatively, you can do the same task on Chrome app with this step - slide over the "Address Bar" to switch tabs. Slide from left to right to switch to the previous tab and slide from right to left to switch to next tab.
I hope that this post is useful to you. If it is, share this post with your friends.
