How to Stop Facebook Email Notifications

PC

Sign into Facebook. Now, go to this URL. Hit “Email” at the bottom. Now, you can see three options: “All,” “Suggested,” and “Only about your account.” Choose the latter.

That’s it. From now on, Facebook will only send emails about your account, its security and privacy.

Android

Open the Facebook app. Tap three vertical lines, which you can find at the top. Hit on Settings & Privacy > Settings. Tap “Notification Settings.”

You can find “Email” at the bottom. Hit it. Tap “Email Frequency.” Select “Only about your account.”

That’s it. From now on, Facebook will only send emails about your account, its security and privacy.

iPhone

Open the Facebook app. Hit three vertical lines, which you can find at the bottom. Tap Settings & Privacy > Settings.

Tap “Notification Settings.” Scroll down to the bottom. Hit “Email.” Select “Only about your account.”

That’s it. From now on, Facebook will only send emails about your account, its security and privacy.


How to Block All Game Requests and App Notifications from Facebook

PC

Sign into Facebook. Hit the “Inverted triangle” icon at the top right. Click on Settings & privacy > Settings. Hit “Apps and websites” from the left sidebar.

In the “Game and app notifications” section, you can see the “Edit” button. Hit it. Click on the “Turn Off” button in the pop-up.

Note: To turn on, follow the above steps and you can see the “Turn On” button in the pop-up. Hit it.

Android or iPhone

Launch the Facebook app. Tap three vertical lines > Settings & Privacy > Settings. Tap “Apps and Websites.” In the “Games and App Notifications” section, choose “No.”

Note: To turn on, follow the above steps, but instead of choosing “No,” select “Yes.”
