How to Sign Out in Windows 10

In Windows 10, you can sign out in 5 different ways. Let's see those ways in detail.

    ​Make sure you are in the Desktop and then press Alt + F4.

    Now, you can see "Shut Down Windows" popup in which you can see a drop-down list. Open it.

    Choose "Sign out."

    Click on "OK" button.

    ​Open Power User Menu (press Windows key + X for that).

    Now, hover your mouse over "Shut down or sign out."

    Click "Sign out."

    ​Press Alt + Ctrl + Delete, and you can see the "Windows Security" screen now.

    ​Open Start Menu.

    In the left side, you can see "Accounts" icon (or the picture you set for your account). Click on it.

    Type "shutdown -l" (without double quotes) and then press "Enter."

If you wish, you can sign out by using the above command in any one of the following - Run Command Box, Address Toolbar, File Explorer Address Bar, PowerShellTask Manager (in Task Manager, click File > Run new task).
