Automatically Close Safari Tabs on iPhone

By default, you need to close tabs manually on Safari on iPhone. But if you prefer, you can set Safari to close tabs automatically after a day, week, or month.

Here are the steps:

Open Settings. Hit “Safari.” Tap “Close Tabs.”

Now, you can see four options – Manually (the default one), After One Day, After One Week, and After One Month. Choose the duration you prefer.

Note: if you want to go back to default, follow the above steps, and choose “Manually.”


Enable Favicon on iPhone Safari

By default, the Safari will not show favicon on iPhone. Press the first icon at the bottom of the Safari after you open a website, and you cannot see the favicon of that site.

If you want Safari to show favicon, then follow the below steps.

Open Settings. Tap “Safari.”

In the “Tabs” section, you can see “Show Icons in Tabs.” Beside it, you can see a toggle switch. Enable it.

Note: To revert, follow the above steps but disable instead of enabling.


Enable or Disable Pop-up Blocker on Safari on iPhone

Open Settings. Hit “Safari.”

Now, you can see a toggle switch beside “Block Pop-ups.” Enable the toggle switch to enable the pop-up blocker. Disable the toggle switch to disable the pop-up blocker.


Enable or Disable JavaScript on Safari on iPhone

Open Settings. Hit “Safari.” Scroll down to the bottom. Tap “Advanced.”

Now, you can see a toggle switch beside “JavaScript.” Enable it to enable JavaScript. Disable it to disable JavaScript.


Remove Frequently Visited

You can view the sites you have visited often in the “Frequently Visited” section of the iPhone Safari.

If you wish, you can remove an individual site from that section or that section entirely. Let us see how to do both.

Remove Individual Site from Frequently Visited Section

In the “Frequently Visited” section, long-press the icon of site you like to remove. You can see the “Delete” option. Hit it.

Remove Frequently Visited on iPhone Safari

Open Settings. Hit “Safari.”

In the “General” section, you can see “Frequently Visited Sites.” Beside it, you can see a toggle switch. Disable it.

Note: If you want to have the “Frequently Visited” section, then follow the above steps but instead of disabling, enable.
