I’ve already covered here the different methods to open File Explorer.
In this post, you’ll see the three different ways to open File Explorer as an administrator. Here, I’m using Windows 11 PC. Let’s start.
How to Run File Explorer as an Administrator using Task Manager
Hit File > Run new tsk.
In the popup, type explorer and select “Create this task with administrative privileges.”
Click the OK button, and that’s all.
How to Run Windows 11 File Explorer as an Administrator using Run as Administrator
Open the C drive and double-click the Windows folder.
Find and right-click on the explorer file.
Select Run as administrator option.
Hit Yes in the UAC popup, and that’s all.
How to Run File Explorer as Administrator using Command
Press the keyboard shortcut Windows + R, and you can see Run.
Type explorer and then press Ctrl + Shift + Enter keys.
Hit Yes in the popup, and that’s all.
Alternatively, you can follow these steps to do this task:
Open elevated Command Prompt or elevated PowerShell.
Type explorer and then hit the Enter key.
