How to Rotate an Image in Google Docs

In my previous post, I've talked about the steps to insert an image in Google Docs.

In this post, we will see the steps to rotate an image in Google Docs. Let's see how to do this task on PC and Android.

PC

Go to Google Docs. Sign in if not already. Open the document which contains the image you want to rotate.

Once you find the image in the document, select the image by clicking on it, and you can see a blue circle.

Blue circle

Hover your mouse over the blue circle, and you can see a crosshair over that. Now, click and hold the blue circle and begin moving your mouse in the direction you prefer.

While rotating, you can see the degree in real time. Once the image is in the degree you want it to be, release the hold.

That's all. You can see the change in the document now.

Android

Open Google Docs app. Open the document which contains the image you want to rotate and then tap the "Pencil" icon at the bottom.

Tap the Overflow Menu (three vertical dots) at the top and then hit "Print layout" option.

Find and select the image (tapping the image will select it).

Now, you can see the blue circle. Hold it and begin moving your finger in the direction you want.

While rotating, you can see the degree in real time. Once the image is in the degree you want it to be, release the hold.

That's it. All done.

I hope that this guide is useful to you. If it is, share this guide with your friends.
