How to Ring Android Device for Calls and Text Messages from Specific Contacts on Silent Mode

In the meantime, you wanna respond to calls and text only from your family members and friends.

It seems like not possible on Android, right?

No, it is possible.

Typically when you put your device on the silent mode, it got applied to all calls and texts.

But by using the third-party apps, you can ring an Android device for calls and text messages from specific contacts in silent mode.

Let’s see the app that helps us with this task and how to use it.

That’s it. From now on, your device will ring in silent mode when you receive a call or text from specified contacts. You can hear default ringtone on call and default notification sound while receiving the text message.

On the Main screen, besides every selected contact, you can see two icons:

Tap the icon to disable the particular feature for that contact.

In this instance, I disabled “call” for my contact “Home”.

From now on, my device will not ring for calls from contact “Home” in silent mode. In the meantime, when I receive a text from “Home”, I’ll get notification sound on my Android device.

In the free version, you can add up to 5 contacts only. If you want to remove that limitation, you need to purchase the pro version of the app.

In case, if you want to delete a contact from the app, then long-press it and choose the “Delete” option.
