How to Reset Network Settings on Android

Resetting network settings is a simple task.

But, before we proceed to the steps, it is important to note that if you reset, you'll lose all network settings (WiFi, Cellular data and Bluetooth) of your Android device.

With that said, here are the steps to do this task:

    ​Open Settings app.

    ​Find and hit "Backup & reset" option.
  • angle-right
    ​Now, you can see "Network settings reset" option which you can find between "Automatic restore" and "Factory data reset." Tap it.

Note: If you can't find the option in the location mentioned above, then tap the "Search" icon at the top of the Settings app. Input "reset" (without double quotes) and you can see "Network settings reset" option. Hit it.

    ​Read the message at the top of the screen and remember that's what going to happen if you proceed. Hit the "Reset Settings" button.

    ​Enter the security (pin, pattern or any other you've set) of your device.

    ​In the "Reset" screen, tap on "Reset Settings" button.

That's all. The network settings are reset successfully.
