How to Remove Your Facebook Profile from Google Search Engine

By default, search engines such as Google display the link to your Facebook profile and its publicly available information and things.

If you do not want search engines to display a link to your profile, follow the steps below.

Remember, however, that search engines can still show your profile publicly available information and things.

In this case, I’m using a PC, Android, and iPhone. Let’s begin.

PC

Sign into your Facebook account.

Click on Settings & Privacy > Settings.

Hit Privacy on the left sidebar.

You can find “Do you want search engines outside of Facebook to link to your profile” under the “How People Find and Contact You” section.

When you click on it, you will see a checkbox. Uncheck it.

In the popup, click Turn Off.

That’s it. The search engines will reflect the change in a few weeks.

Note: To revert, you must check the checkbox.

Android or iPhone

Open the Facebook app.

Hit the three horizontal lines at the top if you’re using Android or the bottom if you’re using iPhone.

Go to Settings & Privacy > Settings.

In the Privacy section, hit on Privacy Settings.

You can find “Do you want search engines outside of Facebook to link to your profile” under the “How People Find and Contact You” section.

Hit it and then turn the toggle switch off.

Select Disable from the popup.

That’s all. The search engines will reflect the change in a few weeks.

Note: To revert, you must turn the toggle switch on.
