In this post, you’ll see the steps to disable or remove Chrome extensions.
You’ll also see the steps to remove Chrome apps. In this instance, I’m using a Windows 10 PC. Let’s get started.
How to Disable or Remove Chrome Extensions
Open Chrome browser.
Hit the three vertical dots at the top > More tools > Extensions (which you can find between “Clear browsing data” and “Task manager”) or type chrome://extensions in the Chrome address bar and then hit the “Enter” key.
You can now see the extensions.
To disable: disable the toggle switch on the extension you want to disable. That’s it.
Note: To enable it, enable the toggle switch on the extension you want to enable.
To delete: click the “Remove” button on the extension you want to remove. In the pop-up, hit “Remove.” That’s all.
