In Windows 10, by default, recently used files and frequently used folders are displayed in Quick access.
However, if you want to remove those from Quick access, then here are the steps:
Under “Click items as follows” section, you can see the “Privacy” section. Under it, you can see two options:
Show recently used files in Quick access – Uncheck this option if you want to remove recently used files from Quick access.
Show frequently used folders in Quick access – Uncheck this option if you want to remove frequently used folders from Quick access.
Uncheck both or anyone as per your liking.
Click the “Ok.”
That’s all. You can see the change(s) in Quick access now.
Note: The pinned folders will be shown in Quick access even if you’ve unchecked “Show frequently used folders in Quick access” option.
