By default, the left button is the primary button and the right button is the secondary button of your mouse in Windows 10.
If you wish, you can change the primary mouse button (which changes secondary too). And remember that this change will affect the touchpad too.
Let’s get started.
Open Mouse Properties.
In the Button configuration section, you can see the Switch primary and secondary buttons option. Select it.
Keep in mind that the change is immediate. Now, the primary button is the right button and the secondary button is the left button. Hit the Ok button at the bottom.
Note: if you want to go back to default, unselect the above-mentioned option and make sure to hit the Ok button at the bottom.
- Open the Settings app.
- Click Devices > Mouse.
- Now, you can see a drop-down list under Select your primary button.
- Open it and select Right.
Note: if you want to revert, open the above-mentioned drop-down list and select Left.
