How to Change Paper Size in Google Docs

In this post, we’ll see how to change paper size in Google Docs (PC, Android, and iPhone).

Change Paper Size in Google Docs Web Version (PC)

  1. ​Sign in to Google Docs.

  2. Open a document and then hit the File at the top.

  3. Click Page setup.

  4. In the Page setup pop-up, beneath Paper size, you can see a drop-down list.

    Open it and then choose the one you prefer.

  5. Hit the Set as default button if you want to set the paper size as default.

    Keep in mind that not only paper size, but every other setting in the pop-up will also be set as default.

  6. Click the Ok button.

Change Paper Size in Google Docs for Android

  1. ​Open the Google Docs app.
  2. ​Open the document and then hit the Pencil icon at the bottom.
  3. ​Tap the three vertical dots at the top and then hit the Page setup, which you can find between SpellCheck and Word count.
  4. ​Tap Paper size and then in the Paper size screen, choose the one you prefer.

That’s all. Hit the Back button, and you can see the document.

If you want to view the change, tap the three vertical dots at the top and then tap the Print layout option.

Change Paper Size in Google Docs for iPhone

  1. Open the Google Docs app.
  2. Open the document and then tap the Pencil icon.
  3. Tap three horizontal dots at the top and then hit the Page setup option.
  4. Hit Paper size.
  5. Select the paper size you prefer.

That’s it. Hit the Back arrow icon at the top and then close the Page setup screen by tapping X. Now, you can see the document.

If you want to view the change, tap the three horizontal dots at the top and then tap the toggle beside the Print layout.
