How to Change Paper Size in Google Docs

In this post, we’ll see how to change paper size in Google Docs (PC, Android, and iPhone). Let’s get started.

PC

Steps

  1. ​Sign in to Google Docs.

  2. Open a document and then hit the “File” at the top.

  3. Click “Page setup.”

  4. In the “Page setup” popup, beneath “Paper size,” you can see a drop-down list. Open it and then choose the one you prefer.

  5. Hit the “Set as default” button if you want to set the paper size as default. Keep in mind that not only paper size, but every other setting in the popup will also be set as default.

  6. Click the “Ok” button.

That’s all. The paper size is changed successfully.

Android

​Open Google Docs app.

​Open the document and then hit the “Pencil” icon at the bottom.

​Tap the Overflow menu (three vertical dots) at the top and then hit the “Page setup,” which you can find between “SpellCheck” and “Word count.”

​Tap “Paper size” and then in the “Paper size” screen, choose the one you prefer.

That’s all. Hit the “Back” button, and you can see the document.

If you want to view the change, tap Overflow menu (three vertical dots) at the top and then tap the “Print layout” option.

iPhone

Open Google Docs app.

Open the document and then hit the “Pencil” icon.

Tap three horizontal dots at the top and then hit the “Page setup” option.

Hit “Paper size.”

Select the paper size you prefer.

That’s it. Hit the “Back arrow” icon at the top and then close the “Page setup” screen by tapping “X.” Now, you can see the document.

If you want to view the change, tap the three horizontal dots at the top and then tap the toggle beside “Print layout.”
