In Windows 10, you can launch WordPad using the command write or start write.
Let’s see the programs in which these commands work.
- Command Prompt
- Address Bar of File Explorer
- Address Toolbar
- Task Manager (Hit File > Run new task to use the command)
- Windows PowerShell
Remember that the latter command is for the Windows PowerShell and the former is for the rest.
Start menu search
Open Start menu.
You can see the WordPad app in the search results. Click on it.
Click on the Start button.
Go to C: > Windows > System32 folder.
Double-click the write file which you can find between wpx.dll and ws2_32.dll.
