How to Open File Explorer in Windows 10

In Windows 10, you can open File Explorer in many ways.

In this post, we will see eleven different ways to do this task. Let's get started.

Click on the Folder icon in the Taskbar.

Press Windows key + E to open File Explorer.

Open Start Menu. Find and open "Windows System" folder.

Within that folder, you can see "File Explorer" (which is in between "Control Panel" and "Run").

Click on it.

Open Start Menu and then type "file" (without double quotes).

Now, you can see "File Explorer" in the search results.

Click on it.

Open Run Command. Type "explorer" (without double quotes) and then press "Enter" key.

Open Command Prompt. Type "explorer" (without double quotes) and then press "Enter."

Open Windows PowerShell.

Type "explorer" (without double quotes) and then press "Enter."

Open Power User Menu (To do that: right-click on the Start button or press Windows key + X).

Now, select "File Explorer."

If you have added Address Toolbar on your Windows PC, then you can open File Explorer from it.

To do that, type "explorer" (without double quotes) in the Address Toolbar and then press "Enter" key.

Go to "Windows" folder (To do that, you can use Run Command. Type "%windir%" (without double quotes) in the Run Command Box and then press "Enter").

Find and double-click "explorer" file.

Open Task Manager. Now, click File > Run new task.

In the "Create new task" box, type "explorer" (without double quotes) and then press "Enter."
