How to Open Disk Management in Windows 10

You can open Disk Management in eleven different ways on your Windows 10 PC.

Let's see what they are.

Right-click on the Start button and then click on "Disk Management" which is between "Network Connections" and "Computer Management."

Open Run Command (keyboard shortcut: Windows key + R).

Type "diskmgmt.msc" (without double quotes) and then press "Enter."

Open Command Prompt.

Type "diskmgmt" (without double quotes) and then hit "Enter."

Open Windows PowerShell.

Type "diskmgmt" (without double quotes) and then press "Enter."

In the Address Toolbar, type "diskmgmt.msc" (without double quotes) and then press "Enter" key.

In the Address Bar of File Explorer, type "diskmgmt.msc" (without double quotes) and then press "Enter."

In the Task Manager, click File > Run new task.

In the "Create new task" box, type "diskmgmt.msc" (without double quotes) and then press "Enter."

Open Start Menu and then type "disk management" (without double quotes).

Now, you can see "Create and format hard disk partitions."

Click on it.

Open Settings.

In the search box at the top, type "disk management" (without double quotes).

Now, you can see "Create and format hard disk partitions" as a search result.

Click on it.

Open Control Panel.

Type "disk" (without double quotes) in the search box at the top.

Now, you can see "Create and format hard disk partitions" under "Administrative Tools."

Click on it to open Disk Management.

Go to C > Windows > System32 folder.

Find and double-click "diskmgmt" file.
