Night Shift feature automatically changes your display colors to warmer colors. You can make the Night Shift works from sunset to sunrise or at the custom time.
By default, this feature is turned off. You can turn it on if you wish, and here is how:
- Open Settings.
- Hit Display & Brightness > Night Shift.
- Tap the toggle switch beside Scheduled. Remember that the Green means enabled.
That is it. Night Shift is turned on.
If you want to change the time, then tap the time. Now, you can see two options: Sunset to Sunrise (this one makes Night Shift works from sunset to sunrise) and Custom Schedule (default).
Tap Turn On At and Turn Off At options and set the time as per your wish.
The slider in the Color Temperature at the bottom can set warm intensity. Use that if you wish.
The Manually Enable Until Tomorrow option will enable the Night Shift on your iPhone right away, which will only work till the next day.
In the Control Center, long-press the Brightness slider. Now, you can see three icons at the bottom.
The one in the center is for Night Shift. Tapping it will enable or disable Night Shift.
If your iPhone is in Scheduled, then tapping this one will enable or disable Night Shift option depending on the one your iPhone is on right now.
I’ve talked about the Scheduled in the above section.
