WhatsApp for Android doesn't have the "log out" option.

However, you can do it by clearing the data of WhatsApp. Before proceeding with clearing data, take a backup of your WhatsApp account.

After you've cleared the data of the WhatsApp, you'll be in the welcome screen of WhatsApp.
