How to Log Out of WhatsApp
WhatsApp for Android doesn’t have the “log out” option.
But you can log out of WhatsApp by clearing its data.
Before proceeding with clearing data, take a backup of your WhatsApp account.
After you’ve cleared the data of the WhatsApp, you’ll be on the welcome screen of WhatsApp.
If you wish, you can get into your WhatsApp account after the verification process.
Like Android, WhatsApp for iPhone doesn’t have the “log out” option.
But you can do the log out by uninstalling the WhatsApp app. Take a backup before proceeding with the uninstall.
In the WhatsApp Web, click on the three vertical dots at the top.
You can see the “Log out” option. Hit it, and that’s all.
How to Log Out of WhatsApp Web Remotely
You can remotely log out of WhatsApp Web. Here are the steps to do that on Android phone and iPhone:
Open WhatsApp Messenger on your Android device.
Hit the three vertical dots at the top.
Hit “WhatsApp Web.”
You can see the devices you’ve logged in. Hit the one you prefer.
Hit “Log Out” in the confirmation pop-up to sign out from that device.
If you want to log out from all devices at once, then hit the “Log out from all devices” option.
Tap the “Log Out” option in the confirmation pop-up.
To log out from all devices at once, follow the below steps:
Open WhatsApp app.
Hit Settings > WhatsApp Web/Desktop.
Hit the “Log out from all devices.”
Hit “Log Out.”
