How to Log Out of WhatsApp

In this post, we’ll see how to log out of WhatsApp (Android) and WhatsApp Web. Let’s get started.

WhatsApp for Android doesn’t have the “log out” option.

However, you can do it by clearing the data of WhatsApp. Before proceeding with clearing data, take a backup of your WhatsApp account.

After you’ve cleared the data of the WhatsApp, you’ll be on the welcome screen of WhatsApp.

If you wish, you can get into your WhatsApp account after the verification process.

Log Out of WhatsApp Web

In the WhatsApp Web, click on the Overflow Menu (three vertical dots) at the top. Now, you can see the “Log out” option. Hit it, and that’s all.

You can remotely log out of WhatsApp Web and here are the steps:

Open WhatsApp on your Android device.

Hit the Overflow Menu (three vertical dots) at the top and then hit “WhatsApp Web.”

Now, you can see the devices you’ve logged in. Hit the one you prefer and then hit “Log Out” in the confirmation pop-up to log out from that device.

If you want to log out from all devices at once, then hit the “Log out from all devices” option and then tap the “Log Out” option in the confirmation pop-up.
