By default, while setting up your new Apple iPhone X, it’ll ask you to set up Face ID.
If you skipped that, then follow the below steps to set up Face ID on iPhone X.
Tap “Face ID & Passcode.” Enter your passcode.
Tap “Set Up Face ID.”
Hit the “Get Started” button.
Now, you need to position your face in the circle and then move your head slowly in the clockwise direction.
After the first Face ID scan complete, hit the “Continue” button. Repeat the above step once again.
Once the Face ID is set up, you can see the below screen.
Hit “Done” button, and that’s all.
Remember that after the Face ID is enabled, it’ll be automatically enabled for iPhone Unlock, iTunes & App Store, and Password AutoFill.
If you wish to disable Face ID for any of the above, follow the below steps:
Tap Settings > Face ID & Passcode. Enter your passcode.
Under “Use Face ID for,” you can see iPhone Unlock, iTunes & App Store, and Password AutoFill.
Hit the toggle beside the one for which you want to disable Face ID.
In case, if you want to turn off Face ID in iPhone X, then follow the below steps:
Hit Settings > Face ID & Passcode. Enter your passcode.
Tap “Reset Face ID.”
That’s it. All done.
