How to Automatically Close Safari Tabs on iPhone

In one of my posts, I have already talked about the steps to enable or disable JavaScript on Safari and enable or disable the pop-up blocker on Safari.

In this post, we will see the steps to automatically close Safari tabs on iPhone.

By default, you need to close tabs manually on Safari on iPhone.

But if you prefer, you can set Safari to close tabs automatically after a day, week, or month.

Here are the steps:

Step 1: Open Settings.

Step 2: Hit Safari.

Step 3: Tap Close Tabs, which you can find beneath Open Links.

Step 4: Now, you can see four options – Manually (the default one), After One Day, After One Week, and After One Month.

Step 5: Choose the duration you prefer.

Note: if you want to go back to default, follow the above steps and make sure to choose Manually.
