How to Hide Likes Count from Facebook Posts

You can hide others or your Facebook posts likes count. You’ll see how to do that in this post.

In this case, I’m using a PC, Android, and iPhone. Let’s get started.

PC

Log in to your Facebook account.

Click on the inverted triangle at the top right.

Select News Feed Preferences. This one can be found between Activity Log and Language.

On the popup, you will find Reaction Preferences, under Snooze. Simply click it.

Using the first one, you can hide the number of likes on your posts, and using the second one, you can hide the number of likes on others posts.

Turn on the one you want.

Remember that the first one will only hide the likes count of the posts you shared on your profile.

Please note that the second one will hide the likes count of posts shared by others to News Feed, groups, and pages. You can still see posts likes count in Marketplace and reels. It’s worth noting that your reaction to the post will still be visible to you and others.

That’s it.

Note: If you wish to see others or your posts likes count, you will need to turn off the corresponding toggle switch.

Android or iPhone

Open the Facebook app.

Hit the three horizontal lines at the top if you’re on Android or at the bottom if you’re on iPhone.

Go to Settings & Privacy > Settings.

You can find Reaction Preferences under News Feed Settings. Simply tap on it.

Turn the toggle switch next to “On your posts” on to hide the likes count for your posts.

Remember that this will only hide the likes count of the posts you shared on your profile.

Turn on the toggle switch beside “On posts from others” to hide the likes count for others posts.

Please note that the second one will hide the likes count of posts shared by others to News Feed, groups, and pages. You can still see posts likes count in Marketplace and reels. It’s worth noting that your reaction to the post will still be visible to you and others.

That’s it.
