How to Create a Folder on Google Drive

Steps

  1. Go to Google Drive.

  2. Click on “New” button on the left side of the screen and then select “Folder.”

  3. In the popup, change the name of the folder if you wish and then click the “Create” button.

That’s all. A folder is successfully created, and you can see it under “Folders” section OR “My Drive” in the left side of the screen.

Android

Launch Google Drive for Android.

Tap the “+” icon and then tap “Folder.”

In the popup, provide a name if you wish and then tap “Create.”

That’s it. Now, tap “Files” at the bottom, and you can see the folder.

iPhone

Open Google Drive for iPhone.

Hit “+” icon and then hit “Folder” option.
