How to Change Paper Size in Google Docs

In my previous posts, I've talked about the steps to change margins, orientation and page color.

In this post, we will see the steps to change paper size in Google Docs. It's a simple task and here's how you can do that on PC and Android:

PC

    ​Sign into Google Docs.

    ​Open a document and then hit the "File" at the top.

    ​Click "Page setup."
  • angle-double-right
    ​In the "Page setup" popup, beneath "Paper size," you can see a drop-down list. Open it and then choose the one you prefer.

    ​Hit the "Set as default" button if you want to set the "Paper size" as default. Keep in mind that not only "Paper size," every other setting in the popup will be set as default. Leave the button intact, if you don't want to set as default.

    ​Click the "OK" button.

That's all. The paper size is changed successfully.

Android

  • angle-right
    ​Open Google Docs app.
  • angle-right
    ​Open the document and then hit the "Pencil" icon at the bottom.
  • angle-right
    ​Tap Overflow Menu (three vertical dots) at the top and then hit the "Page setup" which you can find between "Spellcheck" and "Word Count."
  • angle-right
    ​Tap "Paper size" and then in the "Paper size" screen, choose the one you prefer.

That's all. Hit the "Back" button, and you can see the document.

If you want to view the change, tap Overflow Menu (three vertical dots) at the top and then tap the "Print layout" option.
