Let’s take a look at the steps to add a page break to Google Docs.

​Sign in to Google Docs.

​Open the document you want.

Place the cursor where you need a page break.

Click on “Insert” at the top, move the mouse over “Break” and click on the “Page break” option.

Alternate Method

You can do the same by placing the cursor where you need a page break, and then pressing Ctrl + Enter.

To Remove a Page Break: Place the cursor after the page break you want to delete. Hit the “Backspace” key.

Android or iPhone

See how to add a page break to the Google Docs app.

Open the Google Docs app.

Open the document you want.

Click on the “Pencil” icon at the bottom.

Place the cursor where you want a page break.

Click on the “+” icon at the top.

In the “Insert” section, click “Page break.”

To Remove a Page Break: Place the cursor at the end of the page break you want to delete. Hit the “Backspace” key on your keyboard.
