Adding a hyperlink (also referred as a link) into a Google Docs document is a simple task and here's how you can do that on PC and Android:
Note: If you want to link to another Google Docs document, then type the document name in the "Link" field, and you'll be shown the document. Click on it to add it to the "Link" field. This one applies to the Google Docs for Android too.
That's all. The link is added successfully.
If you want to edit a link, click on it and then click "Change." Now, you can change the anchor text and URL of the link.
Click on "Remove" to remove the hyperlink.
That's it. The link is added successfully.
If you want to edit link, then tap on the link and tap "Edit Link" option to change the text and URL of the link.
If you want to remove the link, then tap on the link and tap on the Overflow Menu (three vertical dots). Now, you can see "Remove Link." Tap on it.
