How to Delete a Page in Google Docs

Deleting a page in a Google Docs document is a simple task and here's how you can do that on PC and Android:

PC

Sign into Google Docs and then open the document.

If you want to delete a blank page, follow this step - Place the cursor in the page you want to remove and then hit the "Backspace" key.

Note: If the blank page you wish to delete is the first page, then you need to place the cursor in that page and then hit the "Delete" key.

If you wish to remove a page along with its contents, follow this step - Select the contents of the page by dragging and then hit the "Delete" key.

Note: If the page you want to delete is the last page, then you need to select the contents of that page by dragging and then hit the "Backspace" key twice.

Android

Open Google Docs app and then open the document.

Hit the "Pencil" icon at the bottom. Tap the Overflow Menu (three vertical dots) at the top and then tap the "Print layout" option.

If you want to delete a blank page, follow this step - Place the cursor in the page you want to remove, hit the "Backspace" in your keyboard.

Note: If you want to delete a blank page and it is the first page, then place the cursor at the top of the second page and then hit the "Backspace" in the keyboard.

If you want to delete a page along with its contents, follow this step - Select the contents of the page and then hit the "Backspace" key twice.

Note: If the page you want to delete is the first page, then select the contents of the page and then hit the "Backspace" key.
