By default, Google Chrome web browser doesn’t have the “Home” button in the toolbar. However, you can add it at any time you want.
In this post, we’ll see how to do this task (in this instance, I’m using Windows 10 PC). Let’s get started.
Add Home Button to Chrome
Click on Overflow menu (three vertical dots)at the top > Settings.
Under “Appearance” section, find and click “Show home button.”
After that, you can see two options – “New Tab page” and “Enter custom web address.”
Keep in mind that clicking the “Home” button will take you to the homepage and Chrome has set the “New Tab page” as your homepage by default. If you want to set a particular site as your homepage, then use the “Enter custom web address” option.
That’s all. Now, you can see the “Home” button in Chrome toolbar.
If you want to return to the default, then disable “Show home button.”
Note: Chrome for Android currently doesn’t have an inbuilt option to do this task.
