How to Show Full Path in Title Bar of Windows 10 File Explorer

By default, when you open a drive or folder in Windows 10, you can see its name in the title bar of the File Explorer.

If you want to show the full path instead of the name in the title bar of File Explorer, then follow the below steps.

Steps

  1. ​Open the File Explorer Options.

  2. Navigate to “View” tab.

  3. Under “Advanced settings,” you can see “Display the full path in the title bar” option, which is between the “Display file size information in folder tips” and “Hidden files and folders.”

  4. Select “Display the full path in the title bar” option. Selected Display the full path in the title bar option

  5. Hit the “OK” button.

That’s all. From now on, you can see the full path in the title bar of File Explorer.

Note: You can’t see these folders (3D Objects, Desktop, Documents, Downloads, Music, Pictures, and Videos) path in the title bar if you try to open them from This PC or Quick access.

If you want to revert, then follow the above steps and instead of checking, uncheck the “Display the full path in the title bar” option.
