Sometimes you may forget your phone number and it becomes a tedious one to find it out. In this post, we will see some easy methods which will surely help you to find your phone number.
I recommend you to check it out all the methods and then choose the method which is suitable for you. Let’s get started.
Find Your Phone Number
- Go to the following location in your phone
Settings > About phone > Status > SIM status > Your SIM name > My phone number
- Now, you can see your phone number.
Unfortunately, I can’t see my phone number there and it shows the message “Unknown”.
Why? Because if the phone number data isn’t included on the SIM card, then this option won’t display the phone number.
It is a simple method. But, always work.
Ask your friends or family members for your phone number. Alternatively, you can make a call to your other phone and find your number.
If you don’t prefer this method, then I suggest you to check it out the other methods.
Google will help you to find your phone number. Here are the steps
- Go to this URL.
- Under “Sign-in & security”, find Account recovery options.
- In the “Recovery phone”, you can see your phone number.
If you didn’t add the recovery phone number to your account, then this method won’t work for you.
Alternatively, you can look in the accounts where you provided the phone number (For instance: shopping sites account such as Amazon).
There is a catch in all the above methods. They work only when you already used the phone number.
Recently, when I arranged my things, I got my old SIM. I’ve not used the SIM mostly and I’ve not given that number to anyone.
Unfortunately, the SIM didn’t have any balance. If I have the balance, then I can call my friends, ask them to note and tell my number. Unfortunately, that is not possible now.
The above methods won’t helpful since I don’t use it. In this case, I find my phone number by using this method.
You can use USSD code provided by the network operators to find your own phone number and here is the list of the popular networks.
|Reliance (CDMA + GSM)||*1#|
Please do a google search if your carrier is not in the above list.
