In this post, we’ll see how to set up Face Unlock on Android. In this instance, I’m using Motorola Moto G7 running Android Pie. Let’s get started.
Open Settings. Tap Security & location > Face Unlock.
Hit “Set Up” button. Provide “Camera” permission.
Go through the points listed on the screen and if you’re okay with it, tap “Next” button.
Now, it is asking me to enter Pin or fingerprint. Remember that it may differ for you. I provided fingerprint in this instance.
Show your face within the circle. You can see this screen now:
Disable the “Bypass lock screen” if you wish. Tap the “Next” button. Hit the “Got It” button.
That’s all. All done.
If you want to disable Face Unlock, then follow the above first step, provide Pin or fingerprint (this may differ for you), and tap “Disable face unlock” option.
