How to Fix Google Play Store Error Code 905?

In this post, we’ll see four different methods to fix Google Play Store error code 905.

Try the following methods one by one and see if the one you’ve tried works for you or not.

In this instance, I’m using Android Pie to show the methods. Let’s get started.

Long timeout duration

Open Settings.

Tap Display which you can find between Battery and Sound.

Hit Advanced which you can find under Wallpaper.

Tap Sleep which you can find above the Auto-rotate screen.

In the pop-up, choose 30 minutes option.

Uninstall updates of Google Play Store

Open Settings.

Hit Apps & notifications which you can find between Connected devices and Battery.

Tap See all X apps (X is a number).

Hit the Google Play Store.

Tap three vertical dots at the top.

Hit Uninstall updates option.

In the pop-up, tap Ok.

Clear data and cache

Open Settings.

Tap Apps & notifications > See all X apps (X is the total number of installed and disabled apps, excluding system apps) > Google Play Store.

Hit Storage, which you can find between Permissions and Data usage.

Tap Clear Storage.

In the pop-up, tap Ok.

Remove and add Google account

Launch Settings.

Hit Accounts which you can find above Accessibility.

Tap your Google account.

Hit Remove Account button.

Remove Account button

Tap Remove Account option in the pop-up.

Add the same Google account to your Android device.
