In this post, we’ll see the different methods to fix the Google Play Store Error code 504 (App can’t be installed. Try again, and if the problem continues, get help troubleshooting. (Error code: -504)).
Go through the ways one by one until you find the one working for you.
Here, I’m using Android Pie to show the ways. With that said, let’s get started.
Use a different internet connection. For example: if you’re on mobile data, then use WiFi.
- Open Settings.
- Tap Apps & notifications > See all X apps (X is the total number of installed and disabled apps, excluding system apps) > Google Play Store.
- Hit Storage.
- Tap Clear Storage.
- In the pop-up, tap Ok.
- Hit the Back button twice and then tap the three vertical dots and tap the Show system.
- Find and hit the Google Services Framework.
- Repeat steps 3, 4, and 5.
Hit Accounts which you can find above Accessibility.
Tap your Google account.
Hit Remove Account button.
Tap Remove Account option in the pop-up.
Add the same Google account to your Android device.
