How to Fix Google Play Store Error 504

In this post, we’ll see the different methods to fix Google Play Store Error code 504.

Go through the ways one by one until you find the one working for you.

Here, I’m using Android Pie to demonstrate. With that said, let’s get started.

Method #1

Use a different type of internet connection. For example: if you’re on mobile data, then use WiFi.

Method #2

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap Apps & notifications > See all X apps (X is the total number of installed and disabled apps, excluding system apps) > Google Play Store.
  3. Hit Storage.
  4. Tap Clear Storage.
  5. In the popup, tap “Ok.”
  6. Hit the “Back” button twice and then tap the three vertical dots and tap the “Show system.”
  7. Find and hit the Google Services Framework.
  8. Repeat steps 3, 4, and 5.

Method #3

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap Accounts > your Google account.
  3. Hit “Remove Account” button.
  4. Tap “Remove Account” option in the popup.
  5. Now, add the same Google account to your Android device.
