If this is the case, switching the internet connection may solve this error.

For instance, if you are in the mobile data connection, then switch to the WiFi connection and try to download the apps from the Google Play Store.

    Now, find and tap the following buttons in order:

Clear Data

    Now, do the above steps to the "Google Play Services" too.

    Go to Settings app > Accounts > Google.

    Tap on the Google account that you want to remove.

    Tap Overflow menu (three vertical dots) at the top and then tap on "Remove account" option.

    Tap on "Remove Account" in the confirmation message and then reboot your mobile.

    Go to Settings app again.

    Tap Accounts > + Add account.

    Now, add and configure your Google account.
