How to Double Space on Google Docs

If you want to double space on Google Docs, then here’s how you can do that on PC, Android, and iPhone:


Here are the steps:

  1. ​Go to Google Docs. Sign in if not already.

  2. ​Open the document and then select the text.

  3. ​Now, click on the “Line spacing” icon at the top, which is between the “Justify” and “Numbered list.”

  4. ​Choose “Double.”

Alternatively, you can do the same task by selecting text and then clicking on Format > Line spacing > Double.

​Open Google Docs app.

​Open the document and then tap the “Pencil” icon at the bottom.

​Select the text and then tap on the “Format” icon which you can find on the left side of the “+” icon.

​Tap the “Paragraph” section, and you can see “Line spacing.”

​Hit “Up” arrow until you see “2” beside “Line spacing.”
