Steps

  1. ​Go to Google Docs. Sign in, if not already.
  2. ​Open the document and then select the text.
  3. ​Now, click on the “Line spacing” icon at the top, which is between the “Justify” and “Numbered list.”
  4. ​Choose “Double.”

Alternatively, you can do the same task by selecting text and then clicking on Format > Line spacing > Double.

  1. ​Open the Google Docs app.
  2. ​Open the document and then tap the “Pencil” icon at the bottom.
  3. ​Select the text and then tap on the “Format” icon, which you can find on the left side of the “+” icon.
  4. ​Tap the “Paragraph” section, and you can see “Line spacing.”
  5. ​Hit “Up” arrow until you see “2” beside “Line spacing.”

  1. Open the Google Docs app.
  2. Open the document you prefer.
  3. Hit the “Pencil” icon at the bottom.
