How to Double Space on Google Docs

If you want to double space on Google Docs, then here's how you can do that on PC and Android:

PC

    ​Go to Google Docs. Sign in if not already.

    ​Open the document and then select the text.
  • angle-double-right
    ​Now, press the "Line spacing" icon at the top which is between the "Justify" and "Numbered list."
  • angle-double-right
    ​Choose "Double."

Alternatively, you can do the same task by selecting text and then clicking on Format > Line spacing > Double.

    ​Open Google Docs app.
  • angle-right
    ​Open the document and then tap the "Pencil" icon at the bottom.

    ​Select the text and then tap on "Format" icon which you can find on the left side of the "+" icon.
  • angle-right
    ​Tap the "Paragraph" section, and you can see "Line spacing" option.
  • angle-right
    ​Hit Up arrow until you see "2" beside "Line spacing."
Line spacing is set to 2
