How to Disable Quick Access on Google Drive

If you don't like Quick Access on Google Drive, then you can disable it and here's how you can do that on PC and Android:

PC

  • angle-right
    ​Sign into Google Drive.
  • angle-right
    ​Click on "Gear" icon at the top and then click on "Settings."
  • angle-right
    ​Now, in the "Settings" popup, you can see "Suggestions." Beside "Suggestions," you can see a checkbox. Uncheck it.

    ​Click on "Done" button at the top.
  • angle-right
    ​Refresh the page.

That's it. All done.

If you want to enable Quick Access, then select the checkbox beside "Suggestions," click the "Done" button and then refresh the page.

Android

  • angle-double-right
    ​Open the Google Drive app.
  • angle-double-right
    ​Hit the Hamburger icon (three vertical lines) at the top and then tap "Settings."
  • angle-double-right
    ​Now, find and tap "Enable quick access."
