How to Disable Facebook In-App Browser on Android

By default, Facebook for Android opens the link in the in-app browser.

If you want to open the link in your default browser instead of the in-app browser, then you need to disable Facebook in-app browser and here are the steps:

    ​Open the Facebook app.

    ​Tap Hamburger icon (three vertical lines) at the top.
  • angle-double-right
    ​Hit Settings & Privacy > Settings > Media and Contacts.
  • angle-double-right
    ​Now, you can see "Links open externally" option. Tap on it.

That's it. The Facebook in-app browser is disabled successfully, and from now on, the link will be opened in your default browser.
