In the Twitter for Android, every link you click will be opened in the in-app browser by default.

If you prefer to get the links opened in your default browser instead of the in-app browser, then you need to disable Twitter in-app browser and here are the steps:

​Open the Twitter app on your Android device.

​Hit your profile picture at the top.

​Tap Settings and privacy > Display and sound.

​Under “Web browser,” you can see “Use in-app browser” option. Tap on it.

That’s it. The Twitter in-app browser is disabled successfully, and from now on, the links will be opened in your default browser.

In case, if you prefer to enable Twitter in-app browser, then follow the above steps.

Note:

By default, the Twitter for iPhone opens the link in the in-app browser.

If you want to open the link in the Safari, then follow the below steps:

Long press the link and you can see “Open in Safari” option. Hit it, and the link will be opened in Safari.

The important thing here to note is that you need to do this for every link you wish to open.

Remember that there is no option in Twitter for iPhone to disable the in-app browser.

Disable Facebook In-App Browser on Android

By default, Facebook for Android opens the link in the in-app browser.

If you want to open the link in your default browser instead of the in-app browser, then you need to disable the Facebook in-app browser.

Here are the steps:

  1. ​Open the Facebook app.

  2. ​Tap Hamburger icon (three vertical lines) at the top.

  3. ​Hit Settings & Privacy > Settings > Media and Contacts.

  4. ​Now, you can see “Links open externally” option. Tap on it. Enabled Links open externally option

That’s it. The Facebook in-app browser is disabled successfully, and from now on, the link will be opened in your default browser.

In case, if you want to enable Facebook in-app browser, follow the above steps.

Note: There is no option in Facebook for iPhone for this task.
