How to Delete Facebook Search History

Note: Click or tap the link if you want to delete your Twitter search history.

Here you’ll see the steps to view and clear your Facebook search history.

In this instance, I’m using Windows 10 PC, Android, and iPhone. Let’s get started.

How to Delete Facebook Search History

PC

Here’s how to view and delete your search history on the Facebook desktop version:

Go to your timeline.

Hit the three horizontal dots button > Activity log.

Hit “Filter.”

Select “Search history” and then click the “Save Changes” button.

You can see your searches now.

To delete a single search: Hover your mouse over the one you want to remove. Hit the three horizontal dots and then hit “Delete.”

If you want to clear all searches, hit “Clear searches.”

Android or iPhone

Here’s how to view and clear your search history on Facebook for Android or iPhone:

Open the Facebook app.

Tap on the three vertical lines > Settings & Privacy > Settings > Activity Log.

Hit Filters > Categories.

Tap Logged Actions and Other Activity > Search History.

You can see your searches now.

Hit the three horizontal dots beside the one you want to remove. Tap “Delete.” In the confirmation pop-up, hit “Delete.”

Hit “Clear Searches” at the top to remove all the searches at once.
