In my previous post, I have talked about the steps to delete a Facebook post. Deleting posts one by one is a time-consuming task since Facebook does not have the bulk-delete option.
However, with the help of the following Chrome extension, you can delete all your posts quickly.
Install the “Social Book Post Manager” extension. Keep in mind that this extension is only available for Chrome.
Now go to Facebook. Sign in, if not already.
I suggest you take a backup of your Facebook account. If you do not want the backup, proceed to the next step.
Click on “Down Arrow” at the top. Click the “Activity log.”
Click “Posts” from the left sidebar. Now, you can see your posts.
Now, click on the “Social Book Post Manager” icon at the top of Chrome and you can see the extension.
Customize the options as per your need. I want to delete all of my Facebook posts. So, I choose “Select All” from both “Year” and “Month” drop-down lists.
Uncheck the “Prescan on Page” option.
Leave the remaining as it is. Now, click on the “Delete” button.
Hit “OK” in the confirmation pop-up.
The extension will begin its process, and you will be notified once the process is finished.
I run the extension two times with the above setting.
After the second time, it wipes out all Facebook posts and the “Activity log” shows no posts. However, the timeline shows a few posts. Keep in mind that this may not be the case for you.
If you wish, you can use this extension on “Post you’re tagged in,” “Other People’s posts to your timeline,” and “Hidden from timeline.” You can find all these in the left sidebar of the “Activity log.”
