The default zoom in the Google Chrome browser is 100%.
You can change it if you like, and here’s how (here I’m using Windows 10 PC):
Hit the three vertical dots in the top right corner of the screen.
From the menu, hit “Settings,” which you can find at the bottom.
Click on “Appearance” from the left sidebar.
You can see “Page zoom.”
Open the drop-down list beside it and select the one you prefer.
Remember that the default zoom applies to every page you open in Chrome.
However, you can change the zoom of the individual page anytime and here’s how:
While you are on the page, click on the three vertical dots at the top right of the screen.
In the menu, you can see “Zoom,” which you can find between “Bookmarks” and “Print.”
Besides it, you can view: – (to decrease zoom), zoom of the current page, + (to increase zoom). You can also see the full screen option. Use the zoom option you prefer.
Press the CTRL and + keys simultaneously to increase zoom, and to decrease, you need this key combination (CTRL and -).
To get to the default zoom, you need to press CTRL and 0 keys simultaneously.
Here’s an important thing to note: if you change the zoom for a page, it’ll apply to the entire site where the page belongs. Also, that one becomes the zoom for that site.
For instance: if you change the zoom while you’re on Google, then that change applies to its search results pages too.
Also note that from now on, you’ll see Google with the zoom you set up for it. I hope you got my point.
