You can reduce the size of a PDF file by compressing it and here's how you can do it on PC and Android:
Install and open "Computech PDF Compress" software.
Click on "Add Files" or "Add Directory" button and then add the PDF file(s) you want to compress. Click "Start" button.
That's all. The software will begin the compression process, and once it is done, you'll see a popup stating "Operation Finished."
Note: Keep in mind that you'll have a separate compressed PDF file(s) and the original file(s) remains unaffected.
Install and open "All PDF Reader, PDF Converter & PDF Tools" app. Provide the permission for the app.
Now, tap the Hamburger icon (three vertical lines) at the top and then tap "PDF tools."
Hit "Compress" option, and you can see the PDF files on your Android device.
Tap the one you prefer to compress.
Now, you can see "Compression Level" popup in which you can choose the level of compression. The available levels are - Low, Medium and High. Select the one you prefer. Tap "Compress."
The app will begin the compression process and once done you can see how much file size is reduced along with the option to open the compressed PDF file.
Note: Keep in mind that you'll have a separate compressed PDF file and the original PDF file remains unaffected.
Unfortunately, this app doesn't have the option to compress PDF files in batch.
