How to Change Text Color in Google Docs

Changing text color in Google Docs is a simple task and here's how you can do that on PC and Android:

PC

  • angle-right
    ​Sign into Google Docs.
  • angle-right
    ​Open the document and then select the text for which you want to change color.
  • angle-right
    ​Hit the "Text color" icon at the top, which you can find between "Underline" and "Highlight color."

    ​Now, click on the color you wish.

That's it. You can see the change now.

If you want to go back to default, then ​follow the above steps and choose the "black" color.

Android

    ​Open Google Docs app.
  • angle-double-right
    ​Open the document and then tap on the "Pencil" icon at the bottom.

    ​Select the text for which you want to change color.
  • angle-double-right
    ​At the bottom, you can see the "Text color" icon which is between "Underline" and "Alignment." Tap on it.

    ​Now, choose the color you prefer.

That's all. All done.

If you want to get back to the default, then follow the above steps and choose "black" color.
