How to Open Camera App in Windows 10

Open Start menu. Now, you can see the “Camera” in the “C” section. Hit it.

Method #2

Open Start menu. Type camera. Now, you can see Camera app in the search results. Hit it.

Method #3

Launch Run. In it, type microsoft.windows.camera:. Hit “Enter” key.

You can use the above command in the following programs: Task Manager (you need to hit File > Run new task to use the command), address toolbar, and address bar of File Explorer.

Alternatively, you can use the command start microsoft.windows.camera: in the following programs to launch the Camera app.


Create Camera App Shortcut

But remember that the steps are the same for creating a shortcut on File Explorer. Let us begin.

Right-click on your desktop’s blank area.

Hover your mouse over “New.” Hit “Shortcut.”

In the “Create Shortcut” pop-up, type microsoft.windows.camera:. Hit the “Next” button.

Now, provide the name for the shortcut as per your liking if you don’t like the suggested name. Click on the “Finish” button.

Reset Camera App in Windows 10

You can reset the Camera app if it is not working properly. Let see how.

Right-click on the Start button. Click on “Apps and Features,” which you can find above the “Mobility Center.”

Find the “Camera” and then hit it. Hit “Advanced options.” Find and hit the “Reset” button. Click on “Reset” in the confirmation pop-up.
