In this post, you’ll see the steps to block all game requests and app notifications from Facebook.
In this instance, I’m using PC, Android and iPhone. Let’s get started.
Sign into Facebook.
Hit the “Inverted triangle” icon at the top right.
Click on Settings & privacy > Settings.
Hit “Apps and websites” from the left sidebar.
In the “Game and app notifications” section, you will see the “Edit” button. Hit it.
Click on the “Turn Off” button in the pop-up.
Note: To turn it on, follow the steps above. You will see the “Turn On” button in the pop-up. Hit it.
Android or iPhone
Launch the Facebook app.
Tap on the Menu (three horizontal lines) at the bottom if you’re on an iPhone or top if you’re on Android.
Hit Settings & Privacy > Settings.
In the Permissions section, tap “Apps and Websites.” You can find the latter between Face Recognition and Instant Games.
In the “Game and app notifications” section, hit “Turn Off.”
In the popup, hit the Turn Off button.
Note: To turn it on, follow the steps above but select “Turn On.” In the popup, hit the Turn On button.
