PC

You can do this task on the PC in two different ways. Pick the one you want. Let’s see what they are.

Method #1

Go to Gmail. Sign in if not already.

Open the email from the sender whom you want to block.

Beside “Reply,” you can see More (three vertical dots) on the right side of the screen. Click on it.

Now, you can see the blocked email addresses under “The following email addresses are blocked. Messages from these addresses will appear in Spam.”

Click on “unblock” beside the email address you want to unblock. In the confirmation popup, click “Unblock.”

Method #2

When you block an email address using this method, all the emails from the blocked email addresses will be moved to the Trash folder automatically.

If you are OK with that, then follow the below steps:

Open the email from the sender whom you want to block.

Beside “Reply,” you can see More (three vertical dots).

Note: In case, if you want to block more than one email address, then you can add it in the “From” field like this:

1@gmail.com|2@gmail.com

Keep in mind that this method will block all the email addresses in the “From” field and automatically move the emails from those addresses to the Trash folder.

Click on “Create filter.”

Create filter option

Click on “Delete it” option.

Click on the “Also apply filter to number matching conversation.” option. The number you see in the option is the number of emails you have in your inbox from the corresponding sender. Select this option only if you want the existing emails from the sender to be moved to the Trash.
