How to Back Up Facebook Account

In this post, you’ll see the steps to back up your Facebook account. In this case, I’m using Windows 10 PC, Android, and iOS. Let’s get started.

How to Back Up Your Facebook Account

PC

Log in to your Facebook account.

Click on the “reverse triangle” at the top right of the screen.

Click on “Settings & privacy.”

Click on “Settings.”

Click on “Your Facebook information” in the left sidebar.

Click on the “View” link next to “Download your information.”

Now set the date range, format, and media quality of the backup. Also, select the information you want in the backup.

Click “Create File.”

That’s all. Facebook will notify you via email as soon as the backup is ready.

After you receive the email, click the “View” link next to “Download your information” (See the steps above).

Navigate to the Available copies tab.

Click “Download” on the backup.

That’s all.

Note: Remember that you only have a few days to download the backup after receiving the e-mail.

Android or iPhone

Open the Facebook app.

Hit the three horizontal lines at the top if you’re on Android or down if you’re on iPhone.

Click on “Settings & Privacy.”

Tap “Settings.”

Tap “Download Your Information.”

Now set the date range, format, and media quality of the backup. Also, select the information you want in the backup.

Click “Create File.”

That’s all. Facebook will notify you via email as soon as the backup is ready.

Once you have received the email, go to “Download Your Information.” See the steps above.

Navigate to the Available Copies tab.

Click “Download” on the backup.

That’s all.

Note: Remember that you only have a few days to download the backup after receiving the e-mail.
